Urip Sulistiyo is a teaching staff at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Jambi. He was born on March 4, 1976 in South Sumatera. The author graduated from English Department of Universitas Jambi and holded his bachelor degree in language education in 1999. He continued his Master program in Education at La Trobe University, Australia in 2006-2008 under Australian Partnership Program, AusAid, Australia. His Doctoral Program was obtained at RMIT University, Australia in 2011-2016 under Directorate of Higher Degree of Indonesian Government Scholarship. He has published several journals in both national and International accredited Journals. His expertise is in the areas of language teaching, teacher professional development, curriculum, teacher training, teaching practicum, and education policy. One of his paper entitled Learning to teach: a case study of student teachers‟ teaching practicum and policy recommendation has been published in The Qualitative Report Journal. This journal is indexed by scopus and an international reputable accredited journal published in United State of America.
